Finally!
Been along time since i came here. What with school and stuff. Done with the first day of exams. Means 2 down 4 to go. But damn, it's damn tiring to study for 3 weeks straight. brain drain does NOT describe it. it sucks ur energy out. Even the darn appetite is gone. Tough on the body n mind. haha. i dun understand how people can just sit there n study. I play freecell after every page of my notes! cant stand the silence of sittin down and tryin to absorb whatever shit im reading. How e hell am i suppose to be a chem engineer if i dun grasp the basics. gahh. and my needs are comin back stronger than ever. hahaha. Come on Mad. I'm dependin on u for more tabung amals. hahaha.

These Days
You know, it's not even hlfway thru my midterm and im already stayin back in school. to study i tink. or rather do my work. it's amazing wad a batch of bad results can do to smack u up and tell u to stop fooling around. k ill get back to that later. im more interested in discussin bout.....V'day! there's been lots of talk bout this special there. so why not give my opinion too. anyway, yes i tink its over-hyped, commercialised to make it seem like its a special day and there's some catholic thing(i've been told) to do with it. But the truth is, it's a day those normal ppl who do not dare to dress up on normal days to dress up nicely, just to bring their date out. Its one of those days when u know that it is ok to ask the girl u like out. one of those days bringing a rose to school means u've got a date. i remember spending vday b4 wid dis girl i liked. being the stupidly practical guy i am, i got her nokia headphones. haha. some of u will laugh but do u know the effort needed to pack earphones nicely. haha. but then as u grow older, u realise. maybe V'day is a gimmick after all and its one gimmick we'd all love to fall into, cynical or not. hopefully next yr, i'll have a date. haha. den we'll see.
K enuff bout v'day. seems that time has changed us n all. cos we finally seem to realise that uni aint that happy go lucky no more. i keep complaining of how my life is lost. but really, i just couldnt be bothered to go out meet new ppl and stop being goddamn shy. haha. i've tried the friendster avenue(im not desperate.just tryin new stuff, u know.) and man, unless she looks like son ye jin, i dun tink i wanna try. haha. oh i tink, dunno when ah. but i do wanna meet pamela's bestie. hahah. ok too much info. school school(to the tune of the peon's work work). and finally my last cry of the day.

cliques
It's amazing how after 3 years of not meeting at all, the positions in a clique never changes. The rowdy ones will always be rowdy and the quiet ones will remain quiet. I met my JC mates yesterday for a birthday party of one of them. It has been directly 3 yrs since i met ANY of them. yet when the time came, it was as if nothin much changed. Jiahao was still the same n so was baz. we didnt feel awkward and were basically the same. The situation is the same for my grp of frens in OCS. fuckers will always be fuckers. haha. im sayin dat nicely if u know wad i mean. no, suprisingly, it is the grp that u spend the most time wid dat changes dynamics. slowly n surely. well, life is full of suprises aint it.

Lost.
Ever sat thru a class and when it ended, all u got were stars flying all around u as u try ur best to make sense of the new materials being force fed thru ur brain. i have. and its been ongoing for 3 three weeks consecutively. major headache as i try to digest all that is expected of me bein a junior chem engin ugrad. My friends n I have declared those with CAP of 4.5 and above as God-like. haha. God prob would have gotten 5.5. we wouldnt know would we. anyhow, i need someone to routinely break me away from this mundane life. Any takers out there?

Sleeping Commuters.
hmmm. i have a thing bout commuters on public transport sleeping. it's irritating to say the least and rude too. There were a few times when i see ppl sleeping in the train or bus and they have dis stupid tendency to fall on one side. While i agree that sometimes we get unbelievably tired and need that much needed rest, there is a part of me that coils in disgust whenever the falling of the head occurs. I was on the way back from town yesterday. and on the ride back on NR5, there was this guy who was sleeping.You know it;s bad when heads fall. but then, this guy, his whole body was leaning to one side and resting against my body. I mean, urgh for me ah. I cant stand it when it happens and S'pore being a conservative country, we Singaporeans sure dun wanna tell the person off, me included. So i tried to subtly push the person back. And the thing is, it almost never works. cos these irresponsibly rude ppl always fall back to sleep and always, they fall exactly into the same position. Do they not put themselves in our shoes. I was sooo tempted to gently push the guy to one side and make him fall over. i mean come on man. Go home n sleep. I really pity those ppl who goes thru this everyday. dey shld be a fine for behavior like dis. It really ticks me off. I think its from my dislike of such ppl that i learn never to sleep in public transport unless i'm at the window seat or those near glass panels. Gahhh.
